Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of ZERO-1 EXPO and its profile, event and communication features.
Last updated: September 12, 2026. Replace the operator placeholders below before public release.
1. Operator and definitions
“Operator” means [operator legal name] (contact: [contact email or form URL]). “Service” means ZERO-1 EXPO, including its websites, profile pages, QR sharing, notifications and event information.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
- Google sign-in is supplied through Google and may be subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy.
- If you are a minor, obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian where required.
- Do not share credentials or allow another person to use your account.
3. Profiles and public information
You decide which profile fields, avatar, links, roles and biography are published. Public pages can be viewed and shared by anyone with the URL or QR code. Do not publish another person’s information, confidential information, or content that you lack permission to use. The Operator may hide or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
4. User content and licence
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, convert to WebP, display and technically distribute that content only to operate, secure and improve the Service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies retained for backups, legal compliance or dispute prevention.
5. Event information and external services
Timetables, venue information, maps, calendar files and external links are provided for convenience and may change. Google Maps, calendar providers, hosting, storage, database and analytics providers are third-party services governed by their own terms. The Service does not guarantee availability, route accuracy, calendar registration or uninterrupted operation.
6. Prohibited conduct
- Illegal, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, discriminatory or harmful conduct.
- Impersonation, unauthorised access, scraping, excessive requests, malware or interference with the Service.
- Infringing copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights.
- Using the Service for advertising, solicitation or profiling without permission.
7. Suspension and deletion
We may restrict, suspend or terminate access when necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance or a material breach. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion through settings or support. Deletion may not immediately remove information already lawfully shared by others or retained where required by law.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, trademarks and original materials belong to the Operator or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence. The Operator is not responsible for third-party services, user content, network failures or events beyond its reasonable control.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms by posting the revised version and its effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Japanese law governs these Terms, and the courts having jurisdiction over [operator location] have exclusive first-instance jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
